October 1989: Warrant had a Top 5 smash hit in the US with "Heaven" and now across the pond to promote the release of the single in the UK. The band was featured in Kerrang! Magazine... "Warrant will be huge!" -Guitarist Joey Allen

October 1986: "Sleazy Does It!" Five months after its release in America, Poison's debut album "Look What The Cat Dragged In" was now availabe in the UK. First single "Talk Dirty To Me" hit the charts there in May 1987.

October 1988: Bon Jovi were gearing up to launch the "Jersey Syndicate" Tour in Dublin at the end of the month with Lita Ford opening all the Europe dates, where she was still relatively unknown.

October 1984: Get out of bed and "Turn Up The Radio", the first single from Autograph's debut album "Sign In Please" was getting played often at American rock radio that would result in a Top 30 rock hit for the band. FMQB radio trade publication ad - October 18, 1984

October 1987: Featuring the single "Sleeping All Alone", German hard rockers Bonfire released their second studio album "Fireworks" in Europe and the US (February '88 in the UK).

October 16, 1989: In the UK, English rockers the Quireboys released "7 O'Clock" as the lead single from their forthcoming debut album "A Bit Of What You Fancy". Release date source: Kerrang! - September 16, 1989.

October 1982: Dutch rockers Vandenberg released their debut album in North America, featuring power ballad "Burning Heart", a US Top 40 hit.
