June 1988: Formed in Philadelphia three years earlier with former Cinderella guitarist Michael Kelly Smith and drummer Tony Destra, Britny Fox released their self-titled debut album in North America (September 9th in the UK) featuring singles "Long Way To Love" and "Girlschool". June 6, 1992: One of the most expensive music videos ever made, "November Rain" from Guns N' Roses premiered on MTV in the US. Axl Rose struggles with the loss of his girlfriend in the video played by his then-real-life girlfriend, Stephanie Seymour.
Happy Birthday to former David Lee Roth and Whitesnake guitarist Steve Vai (June 6, 1960).
June 1988: Gregg Giuffria confirmed that 'Giuffria' the band was no more. "In its place, Gregg formed a new band under the monicker of 'House Of Lords', and has secured a record deal with Gene Simmons' new label, Simmons Records." -Kerrang! House Of Lords debut album was released in October that year.
June 6, 1992: "Revenge", the 16th studio album from KISS debuted at No. 6 on the US Billboard 200. The LP was dedicated to drummer Eric Carr, who passed away in November 1991, and featured singles "I Just Wanna" (co-written by former guitarist Vinnie Vincent), power ballad "Everytime I Look At You" and "God Gave Rock 'n' Roll To You II" that also appears on the soundtrack to the movie "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey".
June 6, 1993: Def Leppard played a homecoming show at Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield, England in front of over 40,000 fans. The only UK stop on the "Adrenalize" Tour, it was filmed and also aired on BBC Radio the following weekend.
June 6, 1985: Formed from the remains of two local bands, L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose, the classic lineup of Guns N' Roses (Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Steven) performed together for the first time at the Troubadour in Hollywood, California.
