June 1985: Bon Jovi released "In And Out Of Love" as the second single from the album "7800° Fahrenheit" that went on to become a Top 20 US rock hit that summer. June 7, 2011: 34 years after forming, Def Leppard released their first official live album "Mirror Ball- Live & More" in North America, recorded on the "Sparkle Lounge" Tour in 2008–09. The double live album also includes three new songs. Release date source: Blabbermouth.net - June 1, 2011.

Scorpions issued promotional singles to radio stations ("No One Like You" Live in Europe and "Big City Nights" Live in North America) from their forthcoming album "World Wide Live" due in June 1985.

Swedish glam rockers Kingpin released "Welcome To Bop City" in 1988, their only album under the 'Kingpin' name (another band had a copyright) and only LP with former Easy Action singer Zinny J. Zan. June 7, 2009: Singer Bret Michaels was injured during Poison’s performance at the 63rd Tony Awards. While exiting the stage, part of a new descending set struck him on the head and knocked him down.
