June 27, 1989: Danger Danger released their self-titled debut album in North America (August '89 in the UK) featuring singles "Naughty Naughty", "Bang Bang" and "Don't Walk Away". American radio didn't really pick up on the band until May 1990 when single "Bang Bang" began receiving airplay.

June 27, 1987: Mötley Crüe's fourth studio album "Girls, Girls, Girls" peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart held out of the top spot by Whitney Houston's second album. The LP reached No. 4 in Canada.

June 27, 1984: Four months after its release and a massive hit single with "Round And Round", RATT's debut album "Out Of The Cellar" was certified gold (500,000 copies sold) in the US. The band's best-selling album, it reached triple platinum in 1991.

June 27, 1995: Bon Jovi released their sixth studio album "These Days" in North America (June 12th in Japan, June 19th in Europe), a darker effort compared to their usual feel-good and inspiring rock songs and ballads, but it was well-received and lead single "This Ain't A Love Song" was a US Top 15 hit. June 27, 1992: Guns N' Roses' "November Rain" debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart at No. 40. Two weeks later, at nearly nine minutes long, it would become the longest single to enter the Top 20.

June 27, 1989: American/British supergroup Bad English with members of Journey and The Babys, released their self-titled debut album in North America (September 4th in the UK) featuring Top 40 hit singles: "Price Of Love", "Possession" and US No. 1 hit "When I See You Smile". June 1989: Japanese rockers EZO released their second studio album "Fire Fire" in North America featuring single "Million Miles Away". Shortly after, internal differences led to the band's demise. June 1985: Canadian rocker Lee Aaron released her third studio album "Call Of The Wild" in Canada (August '85 in the UK) featuring power ballad "Barely Holdin' On". At age 15, she joined a rock group called "Lee Aaron" and never went back to her real name Karen Greening.
