June 13, 1987: Mötley Crüe's fourth studio album "Girls, Girls, Girls" debuted at No. 5 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. Fueled by singles "Wildside", "You're All I Need" and the title track, it peaked at No. 2 in late June.

June 13, 1995: With a stop in Barelona, Bon Jovi were touring Europe on the "These Days" Tour with special guest Van Halen, who opened 20 stadium dates during the second leg of the tour promoting their album "Balance".

Many sites show RATT's second album "Invasion Of Your Privacy" was released on June 13, 1985 in North America. This date is NOT Correct. The LP was issued on May 30, 1985 (Release date source: FMQB radio trade publication - May 24, 1985). June 13, 1987: Powered by singles "Still Of The Night", "Here I Go Again", "Is This Love" and "Give Me All Your Love", Whitesnake's crown achievement album "Whitesnake" peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart.

Spring 1989: Swedish rockers with a little bit of funk, Electric Boys released their debut album "Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride" in Europe (May 1990 in North America and the UK with a different cover) featuring US Top 20 rock hit "All Lips 'n Hips" and follow-up "Psychedelic Eyes". June 13, 2000: After a five-year hiatus, Bon Jovi proved they're still relevant in the new millennium with the release of their seventh studio album "Crush" (working title was "Sex Sells") in North America, featuring Grammy nominated single "It's My Life". June 13, 1985: Released three years earlier in the UK by indie label Secret Records, "Under The Blade" the debut album from Twisted Sister, was re-mixed and re-released by Atlantic Records in North America after the band's success with "Stay Hungry". June 1987: With their debut album due in a month, L.A.'s Faster Pussycat were featured in the UK's Kerrang! Magazine... "In tests, nine out of 10 Sleaze/Trash/Glam fans prefer...Faster Pussycat!"
