May 10, 1986: Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee married actress Heather Locklear in Santa Monica, California, chewing gum on his way up the aisle. The couple split in 1993 and Heather wed Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora the following year.

Many sites show Twister Sister released their third studio album "Stay Hungry" on May 10, 1984. This date is NOT CORRECT. Like their previous LP, "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll", the UK got it first on June 8, 1984. (UK release date source: Record-Mirror - June 2, 1984). It was issued in North America in Mid-June that year (US sources: Cashbox Magazine "forthcoming release" - June 16, 1984 and Billboard Magazine Radio Rock Albums survey chart debut - June 23, 1984. The latter is not a sales chart, only what American radio was playing a week earlier. Finally, the June 2, 1984 issue of Billboard notes a July 1, 1984 ship date for "Stay Hungry". However, with the LP debuting on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart on July 7, 1984, and normally a minimum of 7-10 days of sales needed to chart, it was most likely in US record stores the third week of June 1984).

May 10, 2019: Whitesnake released their 13th studio album "Flesh & Blood" featuring the single "Shut Up & Kiss Me". Singer David Coverdale said the band "put everything we had and more into making this album". Release date source: Blabbermouth.net - April 13, 2019.

May 1994: A year after their former label Capitol Records issued "The Best of Great White: 1986–92", Great White released their seventh studio album "Sail Away", a mostly acoustic effort. Included was a live bonus disc recorded in 1993. Release information source: Debuted Billboard 200 album chart on May 28, 1994.

Enuff Z'Nuff released their fourth studio album "1985" in 1994, featuring material recorded during the band's earliest days. The songs were taken from a demo at the time called "Hollywood Squares", originally recorded in 1985.

May 2016: Femme Fatale's long-awaited second album, "One More For The Road", was released via FnA Records. Recorded in 1989/90 with the original band members, including frontwoman Lorraine Lewis, who was recently with Vixen, the LP originally called "Lady In Waiting", was never released by MCA… "it was all really exciting to think we were going to get back in the studio since we had really cut our teeth out on the road..." There were big plans for this "baby band" and an industry "buzz" had been established primarily from the band's popular videos and their live shows. With a changing musical landscape and new record personnel, Femme Fatale were ultimately dropped from their label. However, 26 years later... May 1990: Mötley Crüe released the EP "Raw Tracks II" exclusively in Japan that includes a live version of "Girls, Girls, Girls" along with a cover of Tommy Bolin's "Teaser". The first "Raw Tracks" was issued in 1988 also only in Japan.

May 10, 2024: Sebastian Bach released his 6th solo studio album and first since 2014, "Child Within The Man", featuring single "What Do I Got to Lose?" issued in December 2023. The LP features guest appearances from Mötley Crüe's John 5, Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) and Orianthi (Alice Cooper). Release date source: Blabbermouth.net - April 13, 2024.

May 1988: After taking time off following the "Dancing Undercover" Tour that ended six months earlier, RATT were featured in Hit Parader Magazine in the US as the rodent rockers prepared to head back into the studio to record their next album "Reach For The Sky".
