January 26, 1989: Bon Jovi launched the North American leg of the "Jersey Syndicate" Tour in Dallas. Skid Row was the opener until they were temporarily kicked off the tour due to Sebastian Bach's frequent onstage profanity.

January 26, 1988: David Lee Roth released his second studio album "Skyscraper" in North America featuring US Top 10 single "Just Like Paradise" and acoustic ballad "Damn Good". January 26, 1984: Ahead of their Rochester, New York concert, Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe made an in-store appearance at House of Guitars. The line was long and "girls screaming coming through after meeting (Crüe)."
