December 1989: Featured in RAW Magazine, Warrant's Jani Lane described himself as "Very Strange. I'm constantly pondering things and that's why a lot of people think I'm an airhead; I'm not."

December 1990: With Cinderella in Japan for a New Year's Eve concert before a UK tour in January 1991, the band's bus driver was not needed and probably a little sad with the holidays coming up. Not getting on that bus anyway 😬

December 1989: White Lion announced a UK tour for January 1990 with special guests Pretty Boy Floyd but it never happened. PBF's debut album "Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz" was issued in the UK on January 2nd.

December 20, 1986: With guitarist Steve Vai, bassist Billy Sheehan and drummer Gregg Bissonette, David Lee Roth ended the first leg of the North American "Eat 'Em And Smile" Tour with the second of two shows in Los Angeles.

Happy Birthday to former KISS drummer Peter Criss (December 20, 1945).

December 20, 1992: After 77 shows, KISS concluded the "Revenge" Tour in Phoenix. "With more pyrotechnics and some incredible laser effects, the stage looked like a New York -- kind of like 'Blade Runner' meets 'Planet of the Apes'." -Wilmington News Journal, October 9, 1992

December 20, 1989: Mötley Crüe played their last show of the year on the "Dr. Feelgood" Tour in Pittsburgh. After returning home to Los Angeles for the holidays, they were greeted by a huge billboard that read "Have a Mötley Christmas and a Happy Crüe Year!"

December 20, 1987: On the road in the American South, Def Leppard played Charlotte, North Carolina before taking a short break for Christmas. The "Hysteria" Tour would resume on the 27th in Jacksonville, Florida.

December 1985: KISS' Paul Stanley was on the cover of Hit Parader Magazine, which was cool, but you also got to read up on Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, Dokken, And, the RATT centerfold was a great holiday gift to yourself 🤗
