November 19, 1983: Quiet Riot's cover of Slade's "Cum On Feel The Noize" peaked at No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 (In 1973, the Slade original reached No. 1 in the UK, but only No. 98 in the US). One week later, "Metal Health" would become the first metal album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart.

November 19, 1988: Bon Jovi's "Bad Medicine", the lead single from the album "New Jersey", hit No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Their third No. 1, it spent two weeks in the top spot and was a Top 10 hit in five other countries.

November 1989: With their follow up album "Boys In Heat" just released, Britny Fox collected gold records for their debut reaching 500,000 copies sold in the US. R&R radio trade publication - November 17, 1989

November 1991: With new frontman Tim Skold replacing Zinny J. Zan, Shotgun Messiah released their second studio album "Second Coming" featuring singles "Red Hot" and "Heartbreak Blvd". November 19, 1984: After 144 shows in 12 countries, including their first appearance at "Monsters Of Rock" in Donington Park, Mötley Crüe concluded the "Shout At The Devil" tour with an intimate gig at the Dominion Theatre in London. -Kerrang!

November 19, 1986: Along with bassist Kip Winger and guitarist Kane Roberts, Alice Cooper's North American "Constrictor" Tour ended in Worcester, Massachusetts. Three days later the band began a string of UK dates.
