November 14, 1988: KISS released compilation album "Smashes, Thrashes & Hits" in North America (December 2nd in the UK) with two new recordings including "Let’s Put The X In Sex". November 1989: Jon Bon Jovi was featured in Kerrang! Magazine with his side of the story regarding Mötley Crüe not being happy about Bon Jovi being treated as the headliners at the Moscow Peace Festival in August that year.

Remembering Bon Jovi co-founder and bassist [1983-94] Alec John Such, who would have celebrated a birthday today (November 14, 1951). Alec died in 2022. R.I.P.

November 14, 1984: Hanoi Rocks launched their first major US tour in Buffalo, New York. Hoping to break through in America, it sadly ended with the death of drummer Razzle, which the band never really recovered from.

November 1990: "Cherry Pie" the song from Warrant, had just peaked at No. 10 in the US when it was issued in the UK, where it would go on to reach No. 59. When Warrant toured Britain with David Lee Roth in March 1991, the single was re-issued and it went a lot higher to No. 35. RAW Magazine ad

November 14, 1987: Power ballads "Is This Love" from Whitesnake and "The Angel Song" from Great White were playing on American radio stations as the bands toured the Midwest together, that included Dane County Coliseum in Madison, Wisconsin.

November 14, 1987: KISS with special guest White Lion played the second show on the "Crazy Nights" World Tour in Pensacola, Florida... "My only concern on stage is me and the audience.
