November 13, 1990: Tesla released all-acoustic live album "Five Man Acoustical Jam" in North America (February '91 in the UK), in honor of the Five Man Electrical Band, who had originally performed the song "Signs" that Tesla covered and turned into a US Top 10 hit.

November 1981: At first called "A Certain Heartache", Def Leppard released power ballad "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" as a single in the UK. It nearly didn't make the 'High 'n' Dry' album because it was a ballad. 😯 Release information source: DefLeppardUK.com

November 13, 1989: In the UK, Whitesnake released "Fool For Your Loving" as a single taken from the band's new album "Slip Of The Tongue", issued the same day. Release information source: Kerrang! ads - November 11 & 18, 1989.

November 1992: Guns N' Roses released "Yesterdays" as the third single from the album "Use Your Illusion II". November 13, 1983: KISS brought the "Lick It Up" Tour to Brussels, their first without makeup. On the same day, four years later, the band launched the "Crazy Nights" Tour in Jackson, Mississippi.

November 13, 1988: Femme Fatale featuring lead singer Lorraine Lewis played the Empire Rock Club in Philadelphia. A review in Kerrang! claimed seeing the band live was "a great deal more exciting than suggested by their debut record."

November 13, 1986: After playing Edinburgh a night earlier, Bon Jovi were en route to Manchester to perform another sold out show on the "Slippery When Wet" Tour. A collectors single for "Livin' On A Prayer" issued in the UK, included previously unreleased live versions of "Only Lonely" and "Runaway". Kerrang! ad

November 13, 2025: Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale announced his retirement three years after calling off a farewell tour. "The last few years it has been very evident to me that it’s time really for me to hang up my rock & roll platform shoes and my skintight jeans... It's time for me to call it a day."
