Remembering Eddie Van Halen, who died October 6, 2020 at age 65. R.I.P.

October 1987: Dokken released "Burning Like A Flame" as a single from their forthcoming album "Back For The Attack" due a month later. October 1989: The bio read "Cock Rock Shock Pop" to describe Pretty Boy Floyd when they released their debut album "Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz" featuring singles "Rock And Roll (Is Gonna Set The Night On Fire)" and "I Wanna Be With You".

October 1989: From his first studio album "Atomic Playboys", Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens released a cover of Sweet's "Action" as a single. The album was only meant to be a one-time effort and he would connect with Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil for his first solo album a few years later. October 1990: After five years, Lita Ford split with manager Sharon Osbourne. Lita has called Sharon "a godsend" and "another female in the rock world" she could relate to. The duet on "Close My Eyes Forever" was Ozzy's first US Top Ten hit.
