October 25, 1986: Bon Jovi's third album "Slippery When Wet" hit No. 1 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart and held the top spot for eight weeks total thanks to smash hits "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Livin' On A Prayer" and "Wanted Dead Or Alive".

October 25, 1986: Originally titled "A Fine Mess", but changed when they learned of a movie about to come out with the same name, RATT's third studio album "Dancing Undercover" debuted at No. 80 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. Lead single "Dance" was getting played on American rock radio stations and the LP would rise to No. 26 less than a month later.

October 1989: With "18 & Life" a Top 5 smash in the US and follow up "I Remember You" rising fast, Skid Row were on a rocket ship with their debut album achieving double platinum in sales.

October 25, 1988: Poison played Memorial Coliseum in Corpus Christi, Texas with support from Britny Fox. If you saw them on the "Open Up And Say... Ahh!" Tour, maybe you picked up a Poison shirt or a now rare Poison wooden tongue depressor 😁

Featuring single "I Love It Loud" and two tracks co-written by Bryan Adams ("War Machine" and "Rock And Roll Hell"), KISS released their 10th studio album "Creatures Of The Night" in North America the last week of October 1982. Ace Frehley is on the cover, but Vinnie Vincent played on the record.
