September 1987: The new Def Leppard album "Hysteria" was selling well in North America, but the first single "Women" was primarily a rock radio hit. September 23, 1989: Stuck behind Milli Vanilli's "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You", Warrant's "Heaven" peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. That same week, "Big Talk", the third single from the album "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich" was released. September 23, 1989: Mötley Crüe's fifth studio album "Dr. Feelgood" debuted at No. 24 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. The title track, "Kickstart My Heart", "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" and more drove the LP to No. 1 three weeks later.

September 1991: Lee Aaron released her sixth studio album "Some Girls Do" featuring the title track, "Sex With Love" and "Peace On Earth". The album peaked at No. 38 on the Canadian RPM Chart and was nominated for a Juno Award for "Best Rock Album".

September 1985: "Leader Of The Pack", RATT's Stephen Pearcy and Robbin Crosby were on the cover of the latest issue of Hit Parader Magazine in the US. The band's latest single "You're In Love" was receiving substantial airplay on American rock radio and had just reached the Top 40 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
