August 19, 1989: Bon Jovi, Europe, Vixen and Skid Row played the 65,000 seat Milton Keynes Bowl in Buckinghamshire, England. Guests Steven Tyler and Joe Perry joined Bon Jovi onstage for a performance of "Walk This Way".

August 1991: Ahead of the release of their first compilation album "Decade Of Decadence 81–91", Mötley Crüe released single "Primal Scream" with uncensored music video that included a nude female dancer (edited for MTV of course). August 19, 1987: Aerosmith may have been the headliner, but there were a lot of t-shirts and some banners for the support act, Dokken in Portland, Maine, who could have been the main act as their star was on the rise. -Kerrang!

August 1983: Rainbow released "Street Of Dreams" as the lead single from their forthcoming album "Bent Out Of Shape". The music video was almost banned on Friday Night Videos in the US because of the opening scene with hypnotist slowly swinging a watch in front of a patient's face, "apparently worried that viewers all across TV-land would nod off and fail to watch the adverts." -Kerrang!

August 19, 1991: Over a year after its North American release, the debut album from New Jersey rockers Trixter was issued in the UK featuring US hit singles "Give It To Me Good" (No. 1 on Dial MTV), "Surrender" and "One In A Million".
