May 30, 1985: "Another batch of solid pop-metal tunes", RATT released their second studio album "Invasion Of Your Privacy" in North America (mid-June in the UK) featuring singles "Lay It Down", "You're In Love" and "What You Give Is What You Get". Like their debut "Out Of The Cellar", the LP went Top 10 in the US.

May 1990: A Top 25 rock hit in America, L.A. Guns were breaking through to the Top 40 with power ballad "The Ballad Of Jayne" from the album "Cocked & Loaded". The video was a No. 1 request on Dial MTV. HITS US radio trade publication ad - May 28, 1990

Happy Birthday to Danger Danger drummer Steve West (May 30, 1964).

May 1988: Kingdom Come released power ballad "What Love Can Be" in North America as the second single from their debut album "Kingdom Come". May 1990: Canadian rockers Helix released their seventh studio album "Back For Another Taste" in North America featuring singles "The Storm", "Good To The Last Drop" and No. 1 rock hit in Canada "Running Wild In The 21st Century". May 1990: New York City rockers Spread Eagle released their self-titled debut album featuring singles "Switchblade Serenade" and "Scratch Like A Cat".
