Hair Band History (April 25th)

Less than a year after we were all introduced to Cinderella, their debut album "Night Songs" was certified double platinum [US] in the spring of 1987. April 25, 1988: Bon Jovi and Mötley Crüe manager Doc McGhee pled guilty to drug smuggling. He was ordered to set up an anti-drug foundation which led to him organizing the Moscow Music Peace Festival [Ozzy Osbourne, Skid Row, Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, Bon Jovi].

April 25, 1989: Blue Murder, featuring John Sykes on guitar and vocals, Tony Franklin on bass, drummer Carmine Appice and produced by Bob Rock, released their debut album "Blue Murder" in North America (one day earlier in the UK) featuring singles "Valley Of The Kings" and "Jelly Roll".
