April 20, 1992: With new guitarist Vivian Campbell, Def Leppard performed "Let's Get Rocked" and "Animal" before being joined by Queen guitarist Brian May for "Now I'm Here" at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at London's Wembley Stadium.

April 20, 1991: A Top 5 request on Dial MTV, Warrant's "Uncle Tom's Cabin", the third single from the album "Cherry Pie", debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

April 20, 1991: A Top 5 rock hit almost a year earlier, Damn Yankees were still going strong with single "Come Again" making its debut on the US Billboard Hot 100. April 20, 1984: Lita Ford released "Gotta Let Go" in the UK as the lead single from her forthcoming album "Dancin’ On The Edge". "And the svelte sonic seductress is likely to do a UK tour in late May/early June." -Kerrang! (April 5, 1984)

April 20, 2010: Their first album since the death of Robbin Crosby in 2002, a reunited RATT released their seventh and what turned out to be, most recent studio album, the well-received "Infestation" in North America (one day earlier in Europe) with former Quiet Riot guitarist Carlos Cavazo. April 20, 1991: Mr. Big's second album "Lean Into It" debuted at No. 103 on the US Billboard 200. With hit singles "Just Take My Heart", "Green-Tinted Sixties Mind" and No. 1 smash "To Be With You", it peaked at No. 15 the following year. On April 20, 1992: Mr. Big launched a seven city UK tour at Nottingham Rock City.

April 20, 1993: Featuring singles "Livin' On The Edge", "Cryin'", "Amazing" and "Crazy", Aerosmith released the album "Get A Grip" in North America. April 20, 1985: Bon Jovi's second studio album "7800° Fahrenheit" was close to release in the US and Europe, but already out in Japan as the band launched their first headlining tour of the Land of the Rising Sun with two shows at Tokyo's Nakano sun plaze.

April 1987: With Stryper, Cinderella, Megadeth and Guns N' Roses on the cover, Hit Parader Magazine featured "The New Metal Explosion" plus inside, the provocative-sounding "Iron Maiden Centerfold".
