April 1988: Hurricane released their second studio album "Over The Edge" in North America featuring US rock hit "I'm Onto You". The band included singer Kelly Hansen and the younger brothers of Quiet Riot's Carlos Cavazo and Rudy Sarzo. Release month source: The Hard Report radio trade magazine - April 29, 1988.

April 19, 1985: Three weeks after the conclusion of the tour, KISS released "Animalized Live Uncensored" on VHS. Filmed in Detroit in December 1984 for an MTV special, it was also the first show for guitarist Bruce Kulick as an official member of the band.

April 1993: Def Leppard released "Tonight" in the UK as the fifth single from the album "Adrenalize". It was originally recorded in 1988 as a possible B-side to one of the singles from "Hysteria" but shelved and re-recorded for "Adrenalize". Formed in 1989, Akron, Ohio hard/funk rock band Slammin' Gladys released their self-titled debut album in 1992 featuring power ballad single "Down On Your Knees". The band was executive produced by Warrant's Jani Lane, who had previously worked with bassist Al ‘Alley’ Collins in the formative act Plain Jane.

April 19, 2014: After 30 years, co-founder and frontman Stephen Pearcy left RATT - Read More. He returned two years later.
