November 3, 1992: Bon Jovi released their fifth studio album "Keep The Faith" in North America (one day earlier in the UK), their last with all five original members. With hit singles "Bed Of Roses", "In These Arms" and the title track, the LP went Top 10 in 11 countries.

November 3, 1986: Europe released their third studio album "The Final Countdown" in the UK (May '86 in Europe, October '86 in North America) with a different cover from the rest of the world but the same success with the title track a No. 1 hit in late October. November 1986: One year after the release of the album "Under Lock And Key", "Dokken - Unchain The Night" was issued on VHS in North America with all their music videos plus tour footage shot by the band.

November 3, 1985: Night Ranger brought the "7 Wishes" Tour to Chicago. That same week, "Goodbye" was issued as the third single from the album. It was a Top 20 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Release information source: R&R radio trade publication ad - November 1, 1985.

November 1986: David Lee Roth released a cover of "That's Life" as the third single from his debut album "Eat 'Em And Smile", the most famous version of the song recorded by Frank Sinatra in 1966. Release information source: R&R radio trade publication ad - October 31, 1986.

November 1985: With a new single coming out, Smashed Gladys singer Sally Cato was featured in Kerrang! who asked if that was her in Mötley Crüe’s "Too Young To Fall In Love" video?

November 1984: Y&T's latest album "In Rock We Trust", featuring their first big radio hit in the US, "Don't Stop Runnin'", took the band to another level and that meant more record store appearances. The music video for follow up single "Lipstick & Leather" had just began receiving airplay on MTV. Billboard Magazine - November 3, 1984

November 1992: A year after their second album "Lean Into It" reached No. 15 in the US thanks to No. 1 single "To Be With You", Mr. Big released "Live", recorded in March at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre. Release information source: Kerrang! - October 3, 1992.

November 3, 1984: KISS brought the "Animalize" World Tour to Brussels with Bon Jovi opening and Belgian melodic rock band Steelover.

November 3, 1985: The "World Infestation" Tour arrived in Greensboro, North Carolina for a really big show with RATT and Bon Jovi at the Coliseum. Of course, you would know that if you were on the RATT mailing list.

November 3, 1985: After filming the "Home Sweet Home" music video a month earlier in Dallas, it was now showing on MTV as Mötley Crüe brought the "Theatre Of Pain" Tour to Cedar Falls, Iowa. The video was the first power ballad aired on MTV and became the music channel's most requested clip for the next four months, prompting MTV to change its request line rules and establish an expiration date for new videos.

November 1996: Slash announced he was leaving Guns N' Roses, later admitting "It was a hard band to quit. But if I hadn’t, I’d be in the very same rut that Axl’s stuck in right now, which is going nowhere." Slash returned to GnR in 2016.
