November 29, 1988: Guns N' Roses released their second studio album "G N' R Lies" in North America (December 5th in the UK) featuring acoustic single "Patience" that went on to reach No. 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

November 29, 1985: KISS launched the "Asylum" Tour in Little Rock, Arkansas with opener Black 'N Blue who featured future KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer. The following night, the tour moved to Nashville.

Dokken were featured in Kerrang! two months after filming a "lavish, big budget" music video in London for "Into The Fire", the first single from the "Tooth And Nail" album. -Kerrang!

November 29, 1995: Sammy Hagar married his second wife, model Kari Karte, in San Francisco. At the time, Sammy was the former Van Halen frontman, but Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony all attended the ceremony.
