November 23, 1999: Mötley Crüe released their first official live album "Live: Entertainment Or Death" in North America featuring performances recorded between 1982-1999. November 1988: After leaving the band Europe and releasing a solo album, guitarist John Norum left Sweden for L.A., to join Don Dokken's new band project that resulted in 1990's "Up From The Ashes" and this glorious photo 🥳

November 23, 1989: Before a December UK tour, Alice Cooper performed a one-off at London's Marquee Club. Supporting the album "Trash", admission was £6 plus a bag full of trash collected off the streets of London. -Kerrang!

November 23, 1989: After playing The Warfield in San Francisco one night earlier, L.A. Guns, Tora Tora and Dangerous Toys were now in Southern California for a "Thanksgiving Nite" show at Celebrity Theatre in Anaheim, followed one night later by a performance at The Hollywood Palladium.

November 1991: From the "Crazy World" album, Scorpions released "Send Me An Angel" as single in the UK with "Wind of Change" on the flip side. The band recorded a Russian-language version of the latter under the title "Ветер перемен" ("Veter Peremen"). Kerrang! ad - November 23, 1991

Mötley Crüe released EP "Raw Tracks" exclusively in Japan in 1988, featuring remixes of "Home Sweet Home" and "Too Young To Fall In Love" plus a live version of "Smokin' In The Boys Room". A second EP "Raw Tracks II" was issued in 1990.

November 1990: After their latest album "Ten" failed to meet expectations of all involved, Y&T split up. Guitarist and singer Dave Meniketti declined an opportunity to form a proposed "super group" with Peter Frampton.

VH1 Classic released the first compilation in the series with "Metal Mania - Stripped, Vol. 1" in 2004, featuring hair bands unplugged... Poison, Scorpions, Cinderella, Warrant, Winger and more.
