November 17, 1988: Guns N' Roses were on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine. Over the summer GnR opened for Aerosmith, but with "Sweet Child O' Mine" hitting No. 1 in the US in September that year, they were now the larger draw.

November 17, 1983: "All Riot On The Western Front", Quiet Riot were featured in the UK's Kerrang! Magazine as "Cum On Feel The Noize" was a certified US Top 5 smash and the "Metal Health" album would hit No. 1 the following week. Exactly one year later, Quiet Riot headlined a show at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis with special guest Whitesnake.

November 1991: From their first live album "Swallow This Live", Poison released "So Tell Me Why" as a single in the UK, one of four new tracks on the album and available in Special 7" transparent picture pack 👍 Release information source: Kerrang! ad - November 16, 1991.

November 17, 1986: With future Tyketto singer Danny Vaughn and future Britny Fox drummer Johnny Dee, Waysted released their third studio album "Save Your Prayers" in the UK (January 1987 in North America) featuring the single "Heaven Tonight". November 17, 1988: Cinderella launched the European leg of the "Long Cold Winter" Tour at De Montfort Hall in Leicester, England. Nine more UK dates would follow, then it was off to Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and France.
