October 27, 1988: Def Leppard performed the last show of the "Hysteria" Tour in Tacoma, Washington, their biggest indoor audience of the 14 month trek (26,962 fans attended) and last full live concert with guitarist Steve Clark 😞

October 1988: Bon Jovi with Lita Ford opening were only days away from the start of the "Jersey Syndicate" Tour in Dublin when these posters appeared in RAW Magazine.

October 27, 1983: Night Ranger released their second studio album "Midnight Madness" in North America (July 2, 1984 in the UK) featuring singles "(You Can Still) Rock in America", "When You Close Your Eyes" and power ballad "Sister Christian", the latter a No. 5 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100.

October 27, 1984: Scorpions returned home for eight shows in Germany with the second date of "Live At First Sting" in Munich... Special guest Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

October 27, 1990: Memphis rockers Every Mother's Nightmare semi-power ballad "Love Can Make You Blind" debuted on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and evenutally rose into the Top 25.

October 27, 1989: Scheduled for released two weeks later, the new album from Whitesnake, "Slip Of The Tongue", had leaked to a Santa Barbara radio station and the band's record label threatened legal action.

October 27, 2009: Winger released their fifth studio album "Karma" in North America (October 16th in Europe) featuring tracks "Pull Me Under" and power ballad "Always Within Me".

October 27, 2023: Dokken released their 13th studio album "Heaven Comes Down", their first since 2012 and featuring singles "Fugitive" and "Gypsy"... October 27, 1987: Whitesnake's David Coverdale joined Mötley Crüe on stage in Montreal for their rendition of Jailhouse Rock, as Whitesnake played their final show in support, with Guns N' Roses set to take their place. Whitesnake were originally only going to play a few early dates on the tour, but Mötley Crüe's management happily increased Whitesnake's fee from $4,000 per night to $10,000 so they would stay on, even though Snake apparently bored the Crüe members 🙃
