September 21, 1987: Originally titled "Who Dares Wins" (drummer Eric Carr's idea), KISS released their 14th studio album "Crazy Nights", featuring singles "Crazy Crazy Nights" (a Top 5 smash in the UK), "Reason To Live" and "Turn On The Night".

September 21, 1984: Ratt opened for Billy Squier in Philadelphia. A year earlier, Def Leppard toured with Squier. Both bands went on to attain massive audiences... Thanks Billy!

September 1986: Released in Japan a year earlier, White Lion's debut album "Fight To Survive" was now available in Europe as an import. "20 stars... Brilliant!"... UK magazines were raving about the band. Release information source: Kerrang! ad - September 18, 1986.

September 1986: Canadian hard rockers Killer Dwarfs released their second studio album "Stand Tall" in Canada featuring singles the title track and "Keep The Spirit Alive", the music video for the latter played often on MuchMusic and MTV. September 21, 1987: Known for his Rambo-like appearance and physique and his usage of an electric guitar shaped like a machine gun (that now shoots fog), former (at the time) Alice Cooper guitarist Kane Roberts released his debut solo album in North America. September 1989: "Hours of fun and razor sharp riffing for small children," Dangerous Toys were featured in the lastest issue of the UK's Kerrang! Magazine.

September 21, 1993: Mr. Big released their third studio album "Bump Ahead" in North America (one day earlier in the UK) featuring a cover of Cat Stevens' "Wild World" that reached the Top 30 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. September 21, 1991: Just days after the release of Guns N' Roses "Use Your Illusion I and II", it was reported that guitarist Izzy Stradlin had quit the band, "unhappy at the way GnR's massive world tour was progressing." He returned in late October.
