Late July 1988: Def Leppard released "Love Bites" as the 5th single from the album "Hysteria" in North America (Early July in the UK). It peaked at No. 11 in the UK, but went to No. 1 in the US and Canada, their only No. 1 single in America. July 1990: The debut album from Trixter was in record stores in North America and the first single "Line Of Fire" got some play at rock radio, but it was the next single and the band's first music video for "Give It To Me Good" that brought them much more attention. July 28, 1990: Poison's third studio album "Flesh & Blood" debuted at No. 32 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. Powered by singles "Unskinny Bop", "Something To Believe In", "Ride The Wind" and "Life Goes On", it would peak at No. 2 in late August.

July 28, 1990: "On the back of their recent five-K acclaimed 'Blackout In The Red Room' debut album," L.A. sleaze kings Love/Hate launched a full British tour in Milton Keynes. -Kerrang!

July 28, 1989: The year's biggest tour, Bon Jovi and Skid Row were in Greenwood Village, Colorado for the second of two shows at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre. For Bon Jovi, only "Runaway" and "Get Ready" from their debut album and "Tokyo Road" from "7800° Fahrenheit" were performed on this tour, except for one performance of "Silent Night" at London's Hammersmith Odeon in 1990.

July 1984: Kerrang! reported that Def Leppard "begin work on their fourth album" in early August. 😔
