July 21, 1987: Guns N' Roses released their debut album "Appetite For Destruction" in North America (one day earlier in the UK) to little attention except for the original cover which was replaced. The LP didn't takeoff until "Welcome To The Jungle" began receiving American radio airplay in early 1988.

July 1992: Firehouse released power ballad "When I Look Into Your Eyes" as the second single from the album "Hold Your Fire". Written by guitarist Bill Leverty and vocalist C.J. Snare, it reached No. 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Release information source: HITS radio trade publication ad - July 20, 1992.

July 1990: L.A. Guns were making their mark with power ballad "The Ballad Of Jayne", a big summer hit and the band's first two albums had just gone Gold in the US. Billboard Magazine ad - July 21, 1990.

Featuring guitarist Doug Aldrich (Hurricane, House of Lords, Whitesnake), Lion released their debut album "Dangerous Attraction" in 1987. A year earlier, they had recorded the theme for the "Transformers" animated movie.

July 21, 1992: Guns N' Roses and Metallica played the third night of their co-headlining tour in Pontiac, Michigan. After performing "You Could Be Mine", Axl Rose vomited onstage, apologized for the poor performance, then played the song again.

July 1987: Getting close to releasing their next album "Crazy Nights", "KISS The Official Magazine" hit newsstands in North America 💋
