Spring 1989: Warrant released "Heaven" in North America as the second single from their debut album "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich". Fans attending their concerts already knew all the words to the power ballad. It reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September that year. June 3, 1989: Guns N' Roses ballad "Patience" peaked at No. 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Played using three acoustic guitars, the song was recorded in a single session. When performed live though, GnR have often done so with electric guitars.

June 3, 1984: With "Panama" about to be released in North America as the next single from the "1984" album, Van Halen played the second of two nights at McNichols Sports Arena in Denver. The US tour would continue until mid-July that year.
