March 30, 1984: Two months after the release of their debut album, Bon Jovi played a Rising Star show in Seattle (Tickets $3). From one fan who was there, "Jon Bon Jovi just about had all of his clothes ripped off when he went into the audience."

March 30, 1992: Def Leppard released their fifth studio album "Adrenalize" in the UK (the next day in North America). Guitarist Vivian Campbell replaced Steve Clark following his death the previous year, but did not play on the album. Release date source: Kerrang! - February 22, 1992.

March 30, 1987: The new Whitesnake album "1987" featuring future hits "Still Of The Night", "Here I Go Again", "Is This Love" and "Give Me All Your Love" was issued in the UK. March 30, 1991: Driven by the success of their cover of Five Man Electrical Band's "Signs", Tesla's album "Five Man Acoustical Jam" peaked at No. 12 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart.

March 30, 1987: Autograph released their third studio album "Loud And Clear" in North America featuring singles "Dance All Night" and "She Never Looked That Good For Me", the latter played by the band in the film "Like Father Like Son" in theaters that same year. March 30, 1992: Formed a year earlier by former Accept frontman David Reece, along with guitarists Curt Mitchell and John Kirk (both formerly of Razor Maid), bassist Ian Mayo (Hericane Alice) and former Bad Boy drummer Jackie Ramos, Bangalore Choir released their debut album "On Target" in the UK (February 18th in North America) featuring single "Loaded Gun" and other songs co-written by Jon Bon Jovi and Aldo Nova. Featuring future Danger Danger singer Ted Poley on drums and vocals, Prophet released their self-titled debut album in North America in 1985. It includes the song "Slow Down", which may have influenced Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead Or Alive" years later.

March 30, 1984: Van Halen brought the "1984" Tour to the Big Apple with the first of two shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
