February 11, 1989: Riding hit singles "Madalaine", "Seventeen", "Headed For A Heartbreak" and "Hungry", Winger's debut album peaked at No. 21 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart.

February 11, 1989: Skid Row's debut album released in late January, debuted at No. 153 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. On the strength of singles "18 & Life" and "I Remember You", it peaked at No. 6 in September that year.

February 11, 1995: Van Halen's last album with Sammy Hagar "Balance" debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200. All four VH releases with Sammy hit No. 1.

February 11, 1989: With the album's fourth single "Paradise City" hitting it big at radio and MTV, Guns N' Roses "Appetite For Destruction" returned to No. 1 on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. It had last been there in October 1988.

February 1989: Def Leppard were red hot with "Hysteria" having sold over 12 million copies worldwide. Six months earlier in the US, the band became the first to sell seven millions copies each of back-to-back albums with "Pyromania" and "Hysteria". As of today, "Pyromania" has sold over 12 million copies and "Hysteria" 20 million plus.

February 11, 1985: Rough Cutt released their debut album in North America featuring "Take Her" (co-written by Ronnie James Dio), "Dreamin' Again" and "Black Widow" (both co-written by Wendy Dio).
